Shipping policy

Shipping Carrier and Tracking:

All orders are sent via USPS. Tracking information is provided when your shipment is sent. Look for the tracking number in your shipment confirmation email. Tracking numbers may require 24 hours to become active in the shipping system. If your tracking number is not appearing in the shipper's system as active, please check again in 24 hours or on the next business day. Insurance is added to every package through our shipping service, not with USPS.

US Shipping:
Shipping cost is based on order weight.
Orders are typically sent out 1-5 business days from purchase date.

International Shipping:
Shipping rates internationally are based on the weight of the order. We have shipping rates to Canada, Puerto Rico, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. If your country is not listed please email info@katiesbuckles.com if you'd like to purchase our products.

Shipping times vary depending on country, and we cannot always provide an accurate delivery date. Once an international order is sent out it cannot be cancelled.

International Customs Duties & Taxes Policy

International customers may be required to pay customs duties, taxes, or import fees upon delivery. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are beyond our control.

Our company is not responsible for these fees and cannot assist with their payment or negotiation. If you choose to refuse the charges, the package may be returned to us. Once received, we will refund the cost of the items. Please note that original shipping fees may not be refundable.

Incorrect Address Policies:
Please double check your shipping address before and after placing your order. You are responsible for providing the correct address, but I do understand mistakes happen, and we will do everything we can to help. Please advise, we ship packages ASAP so it may not be possible to change the address before the package is shipped.

In the event an incorrect address is provided for your order: 

Please send us an email ASAP to info@katiesbuckles.com with the subject line "Incorrect Address". If your email is received before your package is shipped out, we can edit your address.

Already shipped out and isn't yet delivered: 

You will need to contact USPS to request a package intercept (US only): https://www.usps.com/manage/package-intercept.htm Recipient is responsible for package intercept fees.

Delivered to the provided incorrect address: 

Please contact your local post office or resident at the provided address to see if they can assist you.

Package returned to us due to an insufficient address, such as a missing unit number:

We will refund the item and notify you via email to replace the order with your correct address. Shipping cost is not refunded and the order may incur a 3% restocking fee.

Missing Packages Policy:

At Katie’s Buckles, we understand how important it is for our customers to receive their orders on time. If your tracking information shows your package as "Delivered" but you haven’t received it, please follow these steps to help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible:

Step 1: Confirm Delivery Location

  1. Check with neighbors or household members who might have received the package on your behalf.

  2. Visit your local post office with the tracking number to confirm that the package was delivered to the correct address.

Step 2: Contact Katie’s Buckles

If you’ve taken the above steps and still cannot locate your package, please contact our Customer Support team within 3 days of the delivery date

We will initiate an investigation with our shipping carrier and keep you updated on their findings.

Step 3: Insurance Claim Process

If the carrier confirms delivery to the correct address but the package remains missing, you may need to file a police report for a stolen package. This report helps us submit an insurance claim.

Delayed Package Policy:

As a small business, we rely on shipping through USPS for the most affordable small package delivery. Please use the provided tracking number to access updates on the delivery time of your package, and consider signing up for the USPS Informed Delivery service https://www.usps.com/manage/informed-delivery.htm

Please consider possible reasons for the delay such as a holiday or regional weather alerts.

If your package is delayed and the tracking number does not update for a few days, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Confirm Delivery Address

Check the address that you provided on your order and please confirm that it is correct.

Step 2: Start a Service Request with USPS

To expedite the process, you may submit this form yourself at https://emailus.usps.com/s/package-inquiry

Resolution Timelines

Carrier Investigation: Shipping carriers typically take 1-3 business days to respond with a status update.

Insurance Claim Processing: Once submitted, insurance claims are generally resolved within 7-10 business days.

Replacement Package: After the claim is approved, we will proceed with a replacement.
