Extend the life of your buckle and prong collar by taking care of them properly. Let's go over the steps you can take to care for our products!
- Keep your collar off the ground when not in use.
- Links can become misshaped if stepped on or crushed with too much force, and could cause them to come off unexpectedly.
- Occasionally clean and avoid excessive exposure to saltwater and sand.
- Use mild soap and water, dry thoroughly after a particularly dirty adventure.
- Metal polish for stainless steel and Curogan collars will help keep them looking new!
- Double check your buckle and collar before setting off on a walk.
- Sweep any long hair out of the way and make sure the buckle is fastened by pulling on it.
- Check that your dog is within the collar's guaranteed weight limits.
